We LOVE this clinic. We moved to Houston and still bring our dog here if it’s at all possible. Dr. Rierson is so patient, kind, and takes such great care of our sweet boy. He thoroughly answers all of my crazy questions and I leave a conversation with him feeling knowledgeable and prepared. We’ve seen other doctors at the clinic when Dr. Rierson is unavailable and we’ve been so happy with every experience. All of the staff is WONDERFUL! In fact, our dog gets excited to be at the vet. I highly recommend placing your trust in Creek View Veterinary Clinic. Read Less

Dr. Doherty has treated my pets since he joined the practice years ago. He is thorough, gentle, and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better vet.Due to the high volume of patients, at times, it is difficult to get the front office staff to understand exactly what you are saying and you must repeat yourself several times. This is not just on the phone to get an appointment when you can hear her checking someone else out as she is speaking to you, but also as you are checking out she is on the phone and getting your bill or prescription wrong. Nevertheless, these annoyances have never kept me from returning my pets to Dr. Doherty's excellent care! Read Less

I loved this place!, they Attended to us immediately. The people were nice, friendly, and to the point. I appreciated everything greatly. We ran into a panic during hurricane Harvey and had to evacuate. Our little dog needed surgery and they were there when we needed it. It was such a relief to know they could take care of her. The time it stays open really helps, and the doctor there is amazing. He tells you everything you need to know, and encourages any questions you may want to ask. I highly recommend this place to any pet owners around. They truly care for your needs. If I lived in the area, I would have my dog go there all the time for her pet check ups. I am very pleased with this veterinary. 😇😇❤️ Read Less

Our dog was really sick and we didn't have a vet here in town yet. We called and we're able to make an appointment for that same day. We arrived and the clinic was clean and the staff was super friendly. They were very knowledgeable and knew all of the pets by name. We were taken back pretty quickly, and Dr. DeCola was in within 5 minutes. She was SO good with Yoda. He is normal very anti-stranger, and he didn't flinch at all when she touched him. She was patient and loving with him. Asked all the right questions and was very honest with us. She did everything she could to keep costs down for us, and gave us options as far as his care. We were able to take him home that night and she dicussed long term options for him. I would absolutely recommend this clinic and Dr. DeCola to anyone. The staff even walked me through applying for Care Credit so we could afford the necessary treatment. So happy we chose this vet! Read Less

Our cat Khaleesi is 10 months old and started throwing up on a Thursday. She thew up a few times and we thought it was just something she ate that upset her stomach. She thew up on Friday and then about 3AM on Saturday morning. I knew we needed to take her to the vet because this was serious. I looked up places and found Creek View. It had good reviews, and it opened up early. They were able to see Khaleesi around 8:30 that Saturday morning. The vet said they thought her problem was that she had gingivitis. The said they wanted to keep her overnight to monitor her. They also planned to give her a shot to stop the vomiting and they were going to take her blood work. I wasn't given a price, and was told that I didn't have to pay anything that day. My boyfriend called later on that they said that with the blood work, medications, and board for 2 days, our total would be a little over $300. I was very pleased that the vet called me twice a day with updates on Khaleesi. However, on Sunday morning, the vet called and said that we would be able to pick up Khaleesi tomorrow and then he had decided to do an x-ray, just to be sure. He said he found nothing wrong with her. On Monday, we go to pick up our cat and our bill is now $525, thanks to the x-ray we didn't consent to. The vet went over Khaleesi's blood work and x-ray. He said her vomiting was most likely due to her mild case of gingivitis. He said this would always be a problem, but he did not tell us how to treat it or we should due to keep it under control. We weren't too happy with the services. I noticed that Khaleesi had a rough sticky spot on her side. Her nail on her front paw was also torn and bleeding. Read Less

Was super easy to make an appointment and the staff was welcoming and friendly! However they do not openly state prices and they will set you up with an appointment without discussing cost even once. So make sure to ask about it. Just like with the prices, advice is on an ask to know basis. I had my cat neutered and was not given any advice on how to care for him afterwards. Four stars because they did a great job and my cat is happy and healthy, and anything they didn't tell me I could easily ask about or Google.Read Less

Dr. Doherty and technicians immediately took him in at a very busy time and tended to him in a very caring way for both the goose and us. He stayed with them for several days, and we were called when the clinic was closed with updates. We were expecting a high bill, but it turned out to be very reasonable. I'm so thankful - he is on the mend and we owe it all to this staff. I definitely recommend them with confidence that your animal will be well cared for. Read Less

We were referred to Dr. Doherty at Creek View for having our two prairie dogs neutered. While there were some minor miscommunications with the front office in scheduling and producing estimates, the team was very helpful, the surgery deftly handled, and the cost was both in line with the estimates and hundreds of dollars less than quoted by comparably seasoned exotic vets. When one of our boys messed with his wound, the team at Creek View was super responsive in addressing our concerns via phone/email, and saw them again (another veterinarian, a very personable older gentleman whose name escapes me) without charge to ensure there wouldn't be complications healing.A+; these guys are worth the 75-minute drive for us, highly recommended for exotic rodents. My family decided to spend Christmas in Gruene, at a resort that doesn't allow pets. (Waaah!) After I called the resort to ask if there were any exceptions with a pet deposit (nope), the kind resort staff recommended Creek View Veterinary Clinic for boarding my dog during my visit. The staff member said she also worked at a vet and that she would recommend Creek View over any others in the area. That was good enough for me! Thankfully, Creek View was able to fit in my dog for boarding during the holidays on relatively short notice. And they were pleasant and helpful on the phone! Then they were even able to fit in some of my family's pets the week of Christmas! That was surprising and very much appreciated. The rates were extremely reasonable. My dog was $16 per night. My sister's slightly larger dog was $21 per night. My dog's boarding even came with a free bath due to the number of nights he stayed! Bonus! They sent home a report on my dog's stay that helped alleviate some of the worry about leaving him for a few days. It looks and sounds like he did just fine! It warmed my heart when the boarding tech told me my dog was one of the better ones there during the holidays.I was impressed to receive a follow-up survey in the mail from the vet about my experience. If I return to the same resort in the future, I would not hesitate to board my dog with them again. Read Less
