At the upcoming Coldplay concert, we took a significant step towards sustainable hydration by setting up refill stations and reusable bottles for the crew, eliminating the need for single use plastic Our reusable bottles, crafted from sugarcane ethanol, not only provided a cleaner hydration solution but also prevented 15,000 single-use plastic bottles from entering landfills in the past week of pre-production. A small shift with a massive impact, proving that sustainability and live events can go hand in hand. Impact Numbers :-- Over 500 Crew Members - Over 40 Water Refill Touch Points - Bottle made from Sugarcane Ethanol - Saved more than 15,000 single use bottles from entering into the landfill in the past week.

We're inspired by Liquid Death, a beverage company that combines humor with a serious mission. They proudly call themselves “a funny beverage company that despises corporate marketing as much as you do”. Their "Evil Mission?” To make people laugh and encourage healthier beverage choices, all while combating plastic pollution. Beyond their hilariously edgy branding strategy, Liquid Death aims to eliminate plastic waste. They’ve given back 1M to environmental causes, and they partner with non-profit environmental orgs to support beach clean-ups and climate change initiatives. And their use of infinitely recyclable aluminum cans, makes for a 75% lower carbon footprint than plastic bottled water companies. 🌍💧That’s why Liquid Death is a #BusinessAsAForceForGoodAndy Pearson

Avoid using plastic bottles at events like weddings and other gatherings to help the environment. Plastic bottles contribute to pollution, harm wildlife, and waste water in their production. Instead, provide steel glasses and jugs, which are reusable and eco-friendly. With a small funding effort, you can supply 1,000 steel glasses and 100 jugs, each bearing the logo of the sponsoring company, to each marriage hall. This simple switch can reach and inspire lakhs of people, significantly reducing waste and promoting sustainability. Start small, spread the word, and together, we can make a big difference for our planet. Say no to plastic bottles and choose sustainability. I think this makes an impact in the 🌎....

The shocking reality: 48 million tons of plastic waste is generated in the US each year. Only 5-6% of it is actually recycled. We know figuring out where to start can feel overwhelming. But when the businesses, schools and fitness studios you frequent serve clean water you can trust, all you need to do is show up with your refillable water bottle. Pay a deposit on a drink bottle, enjoy your beverage, then return the cleaned, empty container to get your money back — that's Deposit Refund Systems (DRS) in a nutshell. As a policy tool, DRS can reduce littering and accelerate the push towards higher rates of plastic collection and recycling. DRS has shown potential as a valuable approach to realise value from waste, while also promoting proper waste sorting, reusing and disposal behaviour within communities. Check out our carousel to learn more about DRS and the key factors for successful systems. #EndPlasticWaste #CircularEconomy #recycling #plasticwaste

Be it single use or refillable cans and bottles, they all need to be collected at some point, and Deposit Return Systems have proven to be one of the most effective ways to do that. Nice to see this piece from the Alliance to End Plastic Waste from the recent side event at the UN Plastics Treaty #INC4
